The guides and city pages on this site are written by the two owners of Sunburst Solar Solutions, not by an agency and not by a content mill. One owner writes; the other reviews it before it publishes. If something on a page is wrong, you know exactly who to call.

Drew Taylor is co-owner and Sales Director of Sunburst Solar Solutions in Daniel Island, SC. He runs the consultations where South Carolina homeowners decide whether solar makes sense for their roof, their utility and their bill, which is why he writes the pages on this site about cost, incentives, financing and how to compare quotes properly. He would rather talk a homeowner out of a bad system than sell one.

Steve Morse is co-owner and CEO of Sunburst Solar Solutions in Daniel Island, SC. He owns the part of the job that happens after the paperwork is signed — design, permits, the utility interconnection, the crew on the roof and the inspection at the end — which is why he writes the pages on this site about installation, batteries, backup power, commercial projects and service work.

Editorial policy
How we write, review and correct these pages
- One owner writes it. Drew writes the cost, incentive, financing and quote-comparison pages he handles every day in consultations. Steve writes the installation, battery, backup, commercial and service pages that match the work he runs.
- The other owner reviews it. Before anything publishes, the second owner checks it against what we actually price, permit, file and install in South Carolina.
- Rate-sensitive claims carry a date and a source. Utility rates, export credits and incentive rules are labelled with the month they were checked and linked to the primary source, and we re-check them quarterly.
- No guaranteed savings, ever. We do not publish guaranteed savings or production figures. Payback ranges are labelled as illustrative, and nothing on this site is tax advice.
- Corrections. Found something wrong or out of date? Email stevemorse@sunburstsolarsolu.com or call (843) 310-1128 and we will fix it and re-date the page.
