2026 incentives
What you can actually claim in Dallas
The federal residential credit ended for systems placed in service on or after January 1, 2026. Any quote still applying 30% federal is wrong, and the gap runs to thousands of dollars.
$no Georgia state tax credit did not expire. It is worth 25% of installed cost, capped at $3,500 per tax year, with a 10-year carry-forward and a further limit of 50% of your state tax liability. Qualifying systems of 20 kW or less are exempt from property tax, and equipment is exempt from state sales tax.
