What drives price in Dallas

It is reported rather than confirmed from GreyStone own current material, a rebate subject to funding can close mid-year, and we retracted a different Georgia cooperative figure taken from a third-party summary only recently. A rebate that evaporates after you have signed financing built around it is worse than one you never counted on.
It is also reported to carry conditions that affect who may do the work: a licensed contractor and a warranty of five years or more. If the rebate matters to your decision, confirm funding and terms with GreyStone for your own account before you collect quotes, because those conditions narrow the field.

Under its cooperative export-credit rider programme, the older one-for-one net metering ended for new residential systems on December 31, 2025. Power you export earns only set by the cooperative rider, confirmed per account, and So a home that runs its air conditioning, pool pump and laundry during daylight gets a materially better return than an identical home that uses most of its power after dark.

What reduces this price this year
The net column above already applies $no Georgia state tax credit. Two things worth knowing about it: the $3,500 annual cap means larger systems are claimed across more than one tax return, and the credit is non-refundable, so it is limited by your state tax liability.
The 30% federal credit expired for systems placed in service on or after 1 January 2026. If a quote you are comparing still applies it, that quote is wrong by thousands.
GreyStone Power runs no upfront residential rebate, so there is nothing to stack on top of the state credit in Dallas. We would rather say that plainly than let you find out after signing.

Paying for it
Cash, loan, and the Georgia trap
Cash gives the shortest payback and clean ownership. A loan spreads the cost and can sit near your current Dallas bill, but ask for the cash price and the financed price side by side: a low advertised rate is often bought with a dealer fee of several thousand dollars folded into the system price.
